BIOGRAPHY

Kyra Bredenhof resides in Ontario, but her heart belongs to Middle Earth. Aside from her twin sister, she finds her best friends in the books she reads. When she’s not writing, you can find her drinking tea, reading classic literature, walking her mini golden-doodle, or playing piano on most days of the week. Her music taste covers many genres but lies especially in worship music and film scores. Kyra is currently still a high school student but is looking forward to a university education in English Literature in the coming year. She has won various short story competitions, including Best Overall for her story Finlay’s Silence. She has also had 2 short works published by the online journal Remington Review. She is in the process of trying to get her middle-grade novel published, and her mind is already busy with the next book. She dreams that one day, some of her words might change someone’s life, that someone might see themselves reflected in the characters she creates and might never want to leave the pages of her book again.
